This page contains the Controller’s Privacy Statement. Please read this Privacy Statement carefully. The Controller has its registered office in Hilversum at Koos Postemalaan 6 (1217 ZC) and is registered in the commercial register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 53062086, VAT number NL8507.28.733.B01. The Controller’s name is Egeniq B.V.
The Controller can be contacted by e-mailing info@egeniq.com or calling +31 30 767 0709. This Privacy Statement explains how the Controller handles the processing of personal data. It states, for example, the Personal Data (and categories of Personal Data) that are collected and the purpose for which the Personal Data are used. The Controller also states the legal ground for the processing of Personal Data. This Privacy Statement applies to all websites, services and facilities offered by Egeniq.
The processing of Personal Data by the Controller falls within statutory exemption regulations. For this reason, the processing is not reported to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. The Controller reserves the right to amend this Privacy Statement. The current Privacy Statement was most recently updated on 25 November 2019.
Definitions
Personal Data refers to all data filled in on the contact form and provided to the Controller upon further Service Provision.
Controller is an entity (in this case Egeniq B.V.) that determines the purposes and means of the processing of the Personal Data.
Processing relates to the collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction of Personal Data.
Processors are entities that process the Personal Data on behalf of the Controller.
Privacy Statement exclusively refers to this Privacy Statement.
General Data Protection Regulation refers to Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
Types, purposes, legal grounds and term of processing of Personal Data
The processing of your data is based on the following legal grounds:
Consent from the person to have their Personal Data processed;
Processing is necessary to perform the agreement;
Processing is necessary to comply with the statutory obligations imposed on Egeniq B.V.;
Processing is necessary in relation to Egeniq B.V.’s legitimate interest;
The Personal Data is used for marketing purposes and to enable your use of the Service. The contact form states which Personal Data are mandatory. These are your name, telephone number and email address. The email address is required for Service Provision but is also used to inform you in the future about products or services that may be of interest to you. Personal Data will be retained for a period of 12 months.
Personal Data that are collected physically
The Controller also collects Personal Data that are physically obtained from you during a meeting. These are your address details, which we need to draw up a quotation. By providing these data, you also agree to this Privacy Statement. The collection of these Personal Data is based on the same legal grounds as mentioned under the paragraph above.

Transfer to Processors and third parties
Egeniq B.V. uses Mailchimp for its Service Provision. Mailchimp complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework. Your Personal Data is also shared with third parties if the Controller is obliged by law to pass on your Personal Data to competent authorities.
Security
The Controller has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your Personal Data against loss or unlawful processing. The website has a secure server. In addition, this website has an SSL certificate, which allows data to be transmitted over a secure connection.
